If you haven't done so already, it is recommended to read the introductory notes first.

Unfortunately only very few Church Records have been filmed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many records have been filmed, however, by the State Archive and may be viewed there (exception: records of larger cities are not available at the State Archive). Original records will very often still be kept in the Parish Archives. A team organised by the Swiss Genealogical Society is presently compiling a complete register of all Aargau church records (work in progress).

Only Church Records available at Family History Libraries are listed here. Also included are some Civil Registers, Memorial Masses and Notarial Records. Communities will be added as they become available (should you be able to provide updated information, please, contact the webmaster).
